OSAKA VISUAL DIARY: SPRING BREAK FOOD ADVENTURE

For the monthlong spring break, we flew to Osaka and went on a grand food adventure. In the heart of the city lies Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi – where hundreds of food establishments snake through the seemingly endless streets. Coined as the Kitchen of Japan, my expectations were very high. And it met them.

The famous Glico Man billboard and the majestic Osaka Castle

Takoyaki, kushikatsu, themed cafes, hole in the wall cafes, food carts, and street food – these things don’t begin to define what Osaka food culture is all about. This area is definitely my favorite place in Japan. Undeniably.
